Day by day
Your personal assistant meets you at the airport, takes care of the visa and airport formalities and drives you to your hotel, where flowers and a honeymoon cake are waiting in your room. The evening is yours.
The Giza Plateau with your Egyptologist: the Great Pyramid, a walk inside the Pyramid of Khafre, the panoramic viewpoint for your photos together and the Sphinx. After lunch facing the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the treasure of Tutankhamun. In the evening, a dinner cruise on the Nile with live music and a Tanoura show.
An early flight to Luxor. On the West Bank, three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's terraced temple and the Colossi of Memnon; on the East Bank, the 134 columns of Karnak and Luxor Temple, the most romantic of all at dusk. In the evening, board your Nile cruise.
For an unforgettable start, an optional hot-air balloon over Luxor at sunrise. Then sail south: a horse carriage to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best preserved in Egypt, and the double temple of Kom Ombo at sunset, with afternoon tea on the sun deck in between.
The Unfinished Obelisk in its granite quarry and a motorboat to Philae, the island temple of Isis, goddess of love and devotion. In the afternoon, a felucca to a Nubian village of painted houses for tea with a local family, sailing back at sunset. Last night on board.
An early drive across the Nubian desert to the temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, the great temple of love the pharaoh built for his wife. Back in Aswan, a flight to Cairo and a night in your hotel.
A day just for the two of you: relax by the pool, shop in Khan el-Khalili, or add a sunset camel ride at the pyramids or a private evening on a felucca.
Breakfast, then your personal assistant takes you to the airport and helps you with check-in for your flight home.
