About this trip
A weekend, a stopover or the start of a longer trip: two days are enough to fall in love with Cairo. Day one is ancient Egypt at its grandest, the pyramids and the Sphinx, then Tutankhamun's treasure at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Day two is Cairo's living history: Saladin's Citadel and the Muhammad Ali Mosque, the royal mummies at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the lanes of Khan el-Khalili and koshary, the city's favourite dish. We meet you at the airport and take care of the rest.

Your personal assistant meets you at the airport, takes care of the visa and airport formalities, and hands you over to your Egyptologist guide waiting outside. Cairo begins at the Giza Plateau: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, a visit inside the Pyramid of Khafre and the Sphinx, then lunch overlooking the pyramids and an afternoon at the Grand Egyptian Museum with the treasure of Tutankhamun. Check in, then dinner at your hotel.
