Day by day
On arrival, your personal assistant is waiting for you, helps you with the visa and airport formalities, and takes you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Begin on the Giza Plateau with the Great Pyramid of Khufu, then step inside the Pyramid of Khafre to its burial chamber before standing face to face with the Sphinx and its Valley Temple. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Memphis, Egypt's first capital, for the colossal statue of Ramses II, and end at Saqqara with the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built.
A morning in the Grand Egyptian Museum with Tutankhamun's gold, then the Hanging Church and the old Coptic quarter, and an evening walk through the Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Lunch at a local restaurant.
A morning flight to Aswan and a motorboat to the temple of Philae. Board your Nile cruise for lunch, then a felucca around the islands at sunset. Dinner and night on board.
Kom Ombo and its crocodile museum in the morning, lunch on deck as the boat sails north, then a horse carriage to the temple of Horus at Edfu. The boat continues towards Luxor overnight.
An optional balloon flight at dawn, then the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the evening, Luxor Temple lit up. Last night on board.
Karnak in the morning, then a private car across the Eastern Desert to the Red Sea, about four hours with stops. Check in at your all-inclusive resort in time for sunset.
A free day at the resort. Snorkel straight from the beach over the house reef, or simply rest by the sea. All meals and drinks are included.
Another free day. Ask us for a boat trip to Dolphin House, snorkelling with sea turtles at Abu Dabbab, or a desert sunset with a Bedouin dinner (extra).
A morning at the beach, then a transfer to Marsa Alam airport for the short flight to Cairo, and on to your hotel.
Breakfast, then your personal assistant takes you to the airport and helps you with check-in.
